URSZULA KONARZEWSKA

Mgr physiotherapy

Education and experience

Graduated from Medical University in Bialystok (BS) and Medical University of Gdańsk (MS). After graduation, she gained experience in Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinics in Białystok and Gródek as well as in Integrated Preschool in Supraśl working both, with children and adult patients. She also cooperated with fitness club where her physiotherapeutic education helped to restore good condition to those with medical limitations.

 

Courses

Numerous courses in the field of Diagnosis and Treatment of Soft Tissue Dysfunction by J. Ciechomski (additional unit in Pediatry) allow her to consider the patient globally, regardless of his/her age. She constantly develops her skills in the field of physiotherapy but also in non-medical areas such as pedagogics. She continues her education in osteopathy in Flanders International College of Osteopathy (FICO).

Hobby

In her free time she is dedicated to different types of physical activity (snowboard, skating, bicycle, functional training). She also likes travelling, painting and is passionate about cooking.

Education

Graduated from Medical University in Bialystok (BS) and Medical University of Gdańsk (MS).

 Professional work

He started his professional career in rehabilitation centers in Bialystok. Constant professional development led him a position of academic teacher in the Department of Rehabilitation, Medical University in Białystok. Currently, he provides practical and theoretical classes (functional diagnostics and rehabilitation planning, special methods in physiotherapy). He is a supervisor of students internships in the faculty of physiotherapy and a vice president of Polish Association of Health Professionals in Rheumatology. He is also dedicated to scientific work. He is a co-author of few articles in the field of physiotherapy published in Polish and international journals. In the same time he developed his skills in the field of manual therapy as well as orthopedic or neurological rehabilitation working in the physiotherapeutic clinic in Bialystok, ul. Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego.

 Courses:

He constantly increases his qualifications participating in numerous courses, trainings and conferences. He attended the series of manual therapy trainings by Kaltenborn – Evjenth completed with an exam giving international certificate of manual therapist and a series of trainings “Differential diagnosis and manual treatment in locomotor system dysfunction”. He expanded his knowledge and practical skills with visceral therapy, NDS – Neurodynamic Solution, HVLA – short levers manipulative techniques, myofascial fibrolysis and many more. He participated in the series of courses according to standards of The International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). OMPT course is an advanced training in manual therapy and in some countries it is officially acknowledged professional specialization in physiotherapy.

Hobbies:
